Welcome to Siwanoy Country Club. Your visit to the Club is very important to us. Please take a few minutes to review the guest information on this page to familiarize yourself with our standard club policies.

PHONES/COMPUTERS/TABLETS:

The use of cell phones is permitted in the Parking areas and for brief conversations in the Men's and Women's Locker Rooms only.   Occasional, inconspicuous texting and emailing are permitted in and outside the Clubhouse.

If you need to conduct a business call/meeting or use your computer/tablet while at the Club, please see the General Manager to arrange for a designated, private area as such activities are not permitted in the locker rooms.  


Men's Attire:

Clubhouse and Property – At all times, men must wear collared shirts in the Clubhouse and the Upper/Lower Terraces  ("Terraces") adjacent to the Terrace Bar. Hats shall not be worn in the Clubhouse and the bill must face forward when worn on Club property. During lunch service only, tennis, paddle tennis, and golf attire may be worn in the Donald Ross Grill, the Terrace Bar, and the Terraces. The same sports-appropriate attire may be worn in the Donald Ross Bar at any time. Denim jeans, athletic or fitness apparel, or beach or swim clothing are not permitted in the Clubhouse. Appropriate attire for special events will be noted in the event announcement.

Golf – At all times, men must wear collared shirts on the golf course and practice areas. Shirts must be tucked in. Shorts must be Bermuda length and hats must be worn with the bill forward.

Tennis – At all times, men must wear white tennis clothing and collared shirts, except that minimal non-white trim is allowed. Men are permitted to wear colored tennis shoes appropriate for Har-Tru surfaces. Juniors under the age of 18 are permitted to wear appropriate white tennis-style tee shirts. The same rules apply in the tennis bubble during the winter/spring seasons, except that tennis sweats are not required to be white in color.

Paddle Tennis –At all times, men must wear paddle tennis appropriate attire, which includes athletic shorts, athletic shirts, fitness clothing, warm-up clothing, and down vests and jackets. Cross-training or tennis footwear must be worn on the courts, which are scuff-free or non-marking. However, if a Member visits the Clubhouse after paddle play, then the Clubhouse and Property rules shall apply, which permit paddle tennis attire any time in the Donald Ross Bar and, during lunch service only, in the Donald Ross Grill, the Terrace Bar, and the Terraces.

Women's Attire:

Clubhouse and Property – During lunch service only, women may wear tennis, paddle tennis, and golf attire in the Donald Ross Grill, the Terrace Bar and the Terraces. The same sports appropriate attire may be worn in the Donald Ross Bar at any time. Appropriate casual attire is required for dinner in the Clubhouse. Denim jeans, athletic or fitness apparel, or beach or swim clothing are not permitted in the Clubhouse. Appropriate attire for special events will be noted in the event announcement.

Golf – At all time, women must wear golf dresses, skirts, slacks, collared shirts, blouses, or collarless sleeved shirts on the golf course and practice areas. Generic workout attire (yoga pants, yoga shorts, or leggings) and tank tops are not permitted at any time.

Tennis – At all times, women must wear white tennis clothing, except that minimal non-white trim is allowed. Players are permitted to wear colored tennis shoes appropriate for Har-Tru surfaces. Juniors under the age of 18 are permitted to wear appropriate white tennis-style tee shirts.
